Library news: closed Friday 12/9, Pop Up Book Sale and Block Party on Saturday 12/10, and new tote bags for sale!

The Holbrook Library will be closed for a Staff Development Day on Friday, December 9 for important training on how to better serve you!
We will re-open on Saturday, December 10 for our regular hours of 9:30-2:30.

On Saturday, we have TWO fun events happening ~
Pop Up Book Sale by the Friends of the Library from 11am-2pm:  This pop sale will include children's and young adult books - everything is under $1.00.  The Friends will also be selling their *brand new* tote bags for $10.00.  If you cannot make it on Saturday and want to purchase a tote bag, they are also being sold at the library during open hours!  All proceeds the Friends of the Library raise go to help fund library programs and events.
Block Party from 11am-noon:  Join us in the children's area for an hour of creative free play using all kinds of BLOCKS!  From LEGOS, to Lincoln Logs, to foam blocks - creating with blocks helps children build imagination skills, fine motor skills, and helps in building focus.  Children of all ages welcome - must be accompanied by an adult.
