Holbrook is seeking a qualified Conservation Agent

The Town of Holbrook seeks a proven Conservation Professional with excellent written and oral skills and has thorough working knowledge of the Massachusetts Wetlands/River Protection Acts as well as Local Wetlands Bylaws. Reviews applications and plans for projects and gives direction to applicants where needed. Attends Conservation Commission meetings, make recommendations to the Board, writes Order of Conditions, Notice of Violation, Enforcement Orders, and Cease and Desist correspondences and reports, and inspects job sights and properties to ensure compliance.

Associates Degree in Environmental Science or three years' experience in the field as a private wetland's consultant, wetlands consulting firm employee, a Municipal or Governmental employee working directly to administer the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, and/or any equivalent combination of education or experience required. This is a non-union position with a starting rate of 21.34 up to a maximum of 30.00 per hour.
