Join us for morning coffee and Holbrook’s first observance of the Juneteenth holiday this Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Mary Wales Park next to Town Hall (50 North Franklin Street, Holbrook, MA 02343). We will gather to commemorate this historic day, recently adopted as a Federal holiday, with a reading of a brief history of the date and a poem by Carol Boston Weatherford. The Holbrook Rotary Club will provide coffee, hot chocolate, and water. Information about the developing Diversity & Inclusion Committee will be available for anyone interested in getting involved.
