Additional Documentation Needed for Senior Exemptions

Documentation Required for Fiscal Year 2020 Senior Exemptions

Exemptions may be filed any time after July 1, 2020 at the Assessors Office. Cut off date for FY 2021 will be March 15, 2021.

Documentation required for the Senior Property Tax Exemptions are as follows:

First time filers will need to provide a copy of a birth certificate and marriage license if applicable.

Clause 41C (Elderly persons 70 years or older)

  • Copy of 2019 Income Tax
  • Copy of Social Security Statement  - 2020 SSA-1099
  • Copy of Bank Statements, Stocks, Bonds, Securities and Annuities including 401K as of June 2020.

Clause 17D (Elderly Person 70 years or older, Surviving Spouse, or Minor child of deceased parent)

  • Copy of 2019 Income Tax
  • Copy of Bank Statements, Stocks, Bonds, Securities and Annuities including 401K as of June 2020.
