7/11/2019 @ noon: Update on Boil Water Order

The Boil Water Order is in place until the DEP releases the Towns from the order.  There are two things that the DEP requires.  First, we have to have a town-wide water pressure of 20 PSI, which we have achieved overnight.  Second, DEP requires water testing as a precautionary measure.  Two sets of water tests must be conducted over a six hour period.  There is a 24-hour lab analysis that is required.  If both test samples are accepted by the DEP, then they will release the Boil Water Order.  Based on the process required, we will know by Friday at 3 pm.  If the sample testing identifies a problem with our water quality, both Holbrook and Randolph will act accordingly to ensure that residents have access to bottled water.  Thank you.
